China has invited the world to visit in August 2008. Exactly one year out, I've traveled to the heart of the nation that has brutally occupied my homeland for over 50 years. Follow this blog, as I share what I see, feel, and experience... leaving Beijing wide open.

Jacques Rogge what are you scared of? Lhadon only wants to ask you a few questions, and hear if you and the other IOC members are going to engage the Chinese in addressing their human rights violations. Why run away from such a conversation? By being the president of such a body, this is part of your role, to engage with people and institutions. I hope you do schedule a meeting with Lhadon this week.

Dr. Rogge, it is sad to see how some of the leaders from the different world organizations lack integrity. You belong to that group.

Dear Lhadon la and Paul,

Thank you so much for everything that you do and have been doing for Tibet. It is great how strategic your non-violent direct actions are. I am sure it will bring the desired result and that is free tibet. We are so so proud of you both and have been following your blog with admiration for your courage and determination and concern for your safety from this totalitarian and authoritarian regime like China. God bless and bho Gyalo!
