After missing IOC President Jacques Rogge by seconds on Monday, I decided to head back to the the lobby of his Beijing hotel this morning and wait for him. The video’s not the best but check out our brief encounter…
A (Brief) Close Encounter
August 6th, 2007
Hey Lhadon, way to go, you are one cool customer my dear! Be brave you are doing the right thing! Keep it up and be safe.
Lhakdon La,
Great job! Be wise and smart please. We need you longer time.
Lobsang
You guys are really doing some amazing work - I am impressed by your bravery! Thank god someone is doing it. Look after yourselves.
PG - can’t wait to hear your stories when you get home. You need to organise a talk or something!
Love John
Jacques Rogge what are you scared of? Lhadon only wants to ask you a few questions, and hear if you and the other IOC members are going to engage the Chinese in addressing their human rights violations. Why run away from such a conversation? By being the president of such a body, this is part of your role, to engage with people and institutions. I hope you do schedule a meeting with Lhadon this week.

i think you are really doing a great job. Kudos! lets make sure that we reveal the real China to the entire world. Lets make sure CHina listens to us. Please be careful. We will pray for you. we will pray for all those who are fighting for just cause.
Dr. Rogge, it is sad to see how some of the leaders from the different world organizations lack integrity. You belong to that group.
Dear Lhadon la,
Thank you so very much.
My prayers with you always.
Dear Lhadon la and Paul,
Thank you so much for everything that you do and have been doing for Tibet. It is great how strategic your non-violent direct actions are. I am sure it will bring the desired result and that is free tibet. We are so so proud of you both and have been following your blog with admiration for your courage and determination and concern for your safety from this totalitarian and authoritarian regime like China. God bless and bho Gyalo!
Lhadon,

With your dynamic leadership and courage, we will rock the Chinese boat !!!
