China has invited the world to visit in August 2008. Exactly one year out, I've traveled to the heart of the nation that has brutally occupied my homeland for over 50 years. Follow this blog, as I share what I see, feel, and experience... leaving Beijing wide open.

If tibetans don’t like the situation, they can leave, I suggest CHina should open border and let those unhappy tibetans flee the country.

The Chinese government is asking the Tibetan rioters, not all Tibetans, to surrender.

I just found your blog today, and I want to thank you for your courage and commitment to the freedom of the Tibetan people.

The events around Tibet for the last few days have shocked me to my deepest core. I have meditated for peace and compassion and prayed for the ending of the violence

I was planning a trip to Tibet next year, but now, I really don’t know what to do

The events around Tibet for the last few days have shocked me to my deepest core. I have meditated for peace and compassion and prayed for the ending of the violence, but still, I shudder every time I hear the news about what’s going on. One of the rare consolences I have is a line from Dhammapada:
“Silently shall I endure abuse as the elephant in battle endures the arrow sent from the bow: for the world is ill-natured.”

I was planning a trip to Tibet next year, but now, I really don’t know what to do. I truly hope the situation clears itself so that I can one day visit Tibet and see the situation for myself.

chingchong, i dont understand why Tibetans should leave their own country. You stupid, idiot, one-sided thinker(because you’ve only been taught that way), ill-fated Mofos should be the ones bouncin’ out of Tibet with your tails between ur legs.

Its pretty obvious you dont know world history very well except the censored history thay you were taught.
If India can be free after 200 years of British rule and If phillipines can be free after almost 300 years of Spanish rule, then why dont you think Tibet can be Free one day. Tibet Spirit will never waiver.

FREE TIBET!!!
